Just bought my second car from UK car discount. Fantastic again, super car (A4 S-Line Black edition), super discount, dealt with by professionals who know what they are doing. No pressure sales. Better still did not have to deal with fake garage deals that mean nothing and give nothing away!!

Good News first - I saved 2.5k on my new car
Good News first - I saved 2.5k on my new car. They genuinely do not expect you to pay for your car until it has been delivered. You don't get pestered to buy extras, add-ons and insurances that you don't want. My car arrived exactly as specified What to expect from my experience: My car was quoted as a 4 month delivery. The day after I paid the deposit it was extended by a month. It was subsequently delayed by a further month - so 6 months instead of 4. Do NOT 'prepare' your money to pay the balance until you have a confirmed delivery date to your home. The first due dates you get are 'arrival in country' and then 'in stock' dates. They will say that they will contact you if there is a delay, but I found it necessary to ring them the day before my 'due day', having transferred my balance out of my premium Bonds, to then be told there was a delay. They do not appear to be proactive in chasing delays and stick to 'It's down to the manufacturer and it's out of our control'. They will not allow you to collect from the dealership. They will not deliver to an address other than the one on going on the V5C. They will not deliver until you have forwarded proof that you have Insurance in place (they couldn't explain why this was necessary). It had nearly 200 delivery miles. It had not been properly prepared / cleaned and it was obvious that it had spent a considerable time in a giant car park somewhere. However nothing dreadful I couldn't fix with a bucket & sponge. I would definitely use them again - but only because you can't ignore a 2.5k saving over the local dealership.

Discount saved off list price and the car was delivered to my door on a low loader. The delivery guy Tom knew all about the model and spent over two hours going thru the controls and every detail of the car. A great service and saved thousands ££££! as well. The driver who delivered my new car, was very informative, explaining the cars various functions. The three benefits of buying a car with this company, excellent discount, you do not pay the balance till you have inspected the car and superb customer service.
