The Juke is Nissan’s compact SUV that features funky styling and plenty of tech. It is the biggest rival to Fords small SUV, the Puma. Both models sell in very high numbers in the UK, they offer low running costs and are great fun to drive,
The latest Nissan Juke models offer excellent levels of equipment, economical petrol engines and Nissan’s innovative e-Power hybrid system. It’s a hybrid engine with a difference; the petrol engine is used a dedicated charger for the battery which is dedicated to driving electric motor powering the wheels, for a full electric-like experience
Here is a breakdown of the model range and specs:
Acenta Premium
The Acenta Premium is the entry-level model, albeit it still offers a very solid package
Standard Equipment Includes:
- Exterior: 17- inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, shark-fin antenna and the familiar if slightly updated funky styling that makes the Juke stand out from the crowd.
- Interior: Monoform fabric front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto/Apple CarPlay for smartphone mirroring. There’s a 7-inch digital driver display (if you want the larger 12.3-inch display you’ll need to skip this model).
- Driver Assistance Tech: Safety and assistance tech includes a reversing camera, electric parking brake, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, driver alert warning, lane keep assist and lane departure warning.
Optional Extras: The optional Comfort Pack adds rain-sensing windscreen wipers, automatic climate control, auto-folding door mirrors, and a spare wheel. There are also a number of premium paint options available at an extra cost including metallic and pearlescent finishes.
N-Connecta
The N-Connecta builds on the Acenta Premium with more tech and some upgraded finishes.
Additional Features Over Acenta Premium:
- Exterior: 17-inch black/diamond-cut alloy wheels and rear privacy glass.
- Interior: Upgraded Cloth and Synthetic-leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting and a larger 12.3-inch digital driver display. The infotainment system gets the addition of integrated TomTom navigation.
- Driver Assistance Tech: N-Connecta adds front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry and a ‘walk-away' auto locking function. There are also three selectable drive modes (Eco, Normal and Sport).
Optional Extras: The Heat Pack is available at an extra cost; it adds heated front seats, heated steering wheel and ThermaClear® heated windscreen. The driver assistance can also be upgraded with ‘Safety Shield which adds a 360 camera, adaptive cruise control and advanced driver assistance features on motorways.
Tekna
The Tekna trim brings additional comfort and tech as standard
Additional Features Over N-Connecta:
- Exterior: Larger 19-inch alloy wheels
- Interior: Full synthetic leather upholstery, height-adjustable passenger seat and the Heat Pack is included as standard (heated front seats, heated steering wheel and ThermaClear® heated windscreen).
The audio system also gets an upgrade to a premium Bose system with 10-speakers - Driver Assistance Tech: The Safety Shield suite of features is standard (360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor, adaptive cruise control and advanced driver assistance features like blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert).
Optional Extras: The Tekna is stacked full of standard equipment with all the packs included, other than the additional optional premium paint colours, no other extras are available.
Tekna+
The Tekna+ builds on the Tekna trim with some additional styling tweaks and enhancements.
Additional Features Over Tekna/Tekna+:
- Exterior: 19-inch ‘Aero’ alloy wheels, two-tone metallic paint with contrasting roof and an Exterior Personalisation Pack that adds accents on bumpers and side sills.
- Interior: ‘Midnight Black’ synthetic leather seats with Alcantara trim.
Optional Extras: None, its loaded with everything and customisable styling options.
N-Sport
The N-Sport as the name suggests adds some unique sporty styling
