Hyundai has refreshed its popular medium-sized SUV the Tucson for 2026. The Tucson makes a great practical and spacious family car and is also a good option for towing small to medium caravans/trailers with features like Trailer Stability Assist.
All models share the Tucson's bold design, spacious interior, and excellent safety features. Engine options include a 1.6-litre turbo 150PS petrol (available with 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT) and a more efficient 239PS self-charging hybrid (6-speed automatic). The engine line-up is also joined by a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

Tucson Element (Entry-Level Model)The Element model offers generous standard levels of equipment for car buyers seeking value without missing out on the essentials.
The cabin is spacious and practical, it includes cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats and dual-zone climate control for comfort.
Hyundai’s advanced driver assistance tech ‘SmartSense’ is standard, it includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (with car/pedestrian/cycle detection), Lane Keep Assist, Lane Follow Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, cruise control (Smart Adaptive with Stop & Go on automatic/hybrid models), front/rear parking sensors, rear-view camera with guidance, eCall. Also included are Hill-start and downhill brake control, plus Trailer Stability Assist.
Some additional metallic/pearlescent paint colours are available at an extra charge

The Black Line builds on the Element with a dark-themed interior, additional comfort and some upgraded tech.
Inside you get upgraded cloth and leather upholstery, metal door foot plates, and 64-colour ambient lighting. Heated front seats and heated steering wheel are added over the Element model for additional comfort on those cold winter mornings.
Over the standard Smartsense suite of driver assistance features you get Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning and Highway Drive Assist (on DCT/hybrid models) which is an advanced driver-assistance system that can automate steering, braking, and acceleration on designated motorways.

Additions/changes to previous trim-level include Microsuede and leather upholstery, N-Line interior design package (including sports steering wheel and metal pedals), three-zone climate control and remote rear seat folding.
Full suite including semi-autonomous tech Highway Drive Assist.
Additions include a Head-Up Display, smart power tailgate, and enhanced features like Blind Spot View Monitor.

This model adds some additional comfort and features over the N Line Edition model with a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable/ventilated/heated front seats and heated rear seats notable additions included as standard.
Similar spec to the N Line S, while the N Line models offer a sportier aesthetic the Ultimate goes for a more traditional urban SUV aesthetic with additional luxury like full leather interior.
