Skoda’s all-new Epiq, the brand’s full-electric compact SUV, is open for UK orders on the larger battery '55' model. It’s the first Skoda built on Volkswagen MEB+ platform and the brand’s first all-electric model with front-wheel drive.
The little brother of Skoda's seven-seater Large SUV, the Peaq, Skoda is aiming to deliver a small electric crossover for people who want usable boot space (Boot space is 475 litres with the seats up and up to 1,345 litres folded, plus a 25-litre frunk under the bonnet) and a practical WLTP EV range of up to 272 miles.
The design is modern and clean, featuring glossy black Tetrim and touches, T-shaped light signature, and a O-shaped air inlets.
Two batteries are planned. The Epiq 55 model (available now) uses 52 kWh NMC pack and 211 PS, with Skoda quoting WLTP range of up to around 270–272 miles (depending on the trim and options you choose). Optimal charging is rated at up to 105 kW, with 10–80% in under 25 minutes.
The Epiq 40 model with a smaller battery (37 kWh LFP, 135 PS, around 190 miles WLTP range) is planned for release early 2027.
Six exterior colours are available. Solid paint options are Marble Grey and Timano Green. Metallics are Platinum White, Pebble Silver and Mystery Black, with Jasper Red as an exclusive metallic option. First Edition limited run models add a two-tone black roof.
The cabin follows Skoda’s modern and practical theme, a 13-inch centre touchscreen/infotainment system is paired with a five-inch digital cockpit, Skoda's SmartLink smartphone technology which enables wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Interior themes include Loft Grey (grey fabric and Techtona artificial leather seats), standard on SE L and Edition models. Edition model;s can also be had with brown artificial leather and microsuede upholstery.
Orders are open now on SE L, Edition and the limited run First Edition model all with with the larger 55 battery.
Entry-level model for the 55 range. You get 18-inch Plover alloys, Loft Grey interior, LED headlights with daytime running lights and LED rear lamps.
Inside features a 13-inch infotainment screen, five-inch digital cockpit, wireless SmartLink (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration ) and automatic single zone climate control.
Driver assistance and safety features include rear parking sensors, keyless start/stop and adaptive cruise contra, Front Assist, Side Assist, Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and seven airbags including a centre airbag.
Edition trim builds on the SE L with 18-inch Saola alloys, electrically folding auto-dimming mirrors with boarding lights, integrated satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, front sensors, heated front seats, a heated two-spoke steering wheel, two-zone climate, wireless phone charging with active cooling, tow-bar preparation, drive mode select, keyless entry with walk-away locking and mobile digital key, bidirectional charging capability and Travel Assist Plus (Skoda's advanced suite of semi-autonomous driver assistance features).
Limited launch trim. Exclusive exterior design features include Navajo Orange accents on the mirror caps, side-window trim, wheel-cover stripe and bumper O-ring surrounds, plus a two-tone black roof, black First Edition badge, black roof rails and exclusive 20-inch alloys.
Inside exclusive features include orange stitching on seats, dashboard and steering wheel, orange seatbelts, three-spoke sports wheel, black headlining, sports pedals and decorative door sills. Convenience and Tech packs are standard on this edition.
