Kia has announced that several of its electric vehicles now qualify for the Government's £1,500 Electric Car Grant.
The award-winning EV3, a compact SUV, which claimed both UK Car of the Year and World Car of the Year honours in 2025, is now eligible for the grant across its 'Air' and 'GT-Line' variants. The model is available with either Standard Range (58.3kWh battery) or the Longer Range (81.4kWh battery) configurations.
The EV3 launched with three initial grades before adding a dual-motor AWD 'GT' performance variant, with specifications for the high-performance model due later this year. The compact SUV has been Kia's most successful electric launch to date, becoming their fastest-selling full electric model since its late 2024 debut.
