The Eye-Catching New Vauxhall Mokka YES

Vauxhall has opened orders for the new Mokka YES, a fresh entry-level trim that replaces the previous Griffin and brings enhanced equipment and distinctive styling to the popular small SUV range. The YES model aims to deliver more visual impact and practical features while remaining attainable for UK buyers at an attractive price-point.

Available with petrol, hybrid and fully electric powertrains, the new trim strengthens the Mokka’s position as a stylish and well-equipped choice in the highly competitive compact crossover segment.

Distinctive Exterior Styling

The Mokka YES introduces a bolder look with an exclusive Coral Orange metallic paint option – (the same shade seen on the Corsa YES model), with matching interior accents available. Other colours include Tropical Green, Colibri Blue, Graphic Grey and Arctic White (additional costs may apply).

Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, black exterior detailing, black Griffin emblems, black Mokka lettering, a black front skid plate and high-gloss black side mouldings. Buyers can choose either a single body-colour or a contrasting black roof to further personalise the appearance.

Colourful Cabin and Practical Touches

Inside, the Coral Orange theme continues with door stitching, dashboard detailing and seat accents (when specified with the matching exterior paint). Seats combine vegan synthetic leather with recycled fabric, featuring orange inserts and contrast stitching. Automatic versions add aluminium pedals for a sportier feel/look.

The cabin retains a high level of tech for an entry-level model, including a 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Intelli-LED headlights and LED taillights are also standard.

Enhanced Equipment Over Previous Entry Model

Compared with Vauxhall's outgoing entry-level model, the Griffin, the YES trim adds a useful package of driver-assistance and convenience features as standard. These include front and rear parking sensors, a 180-degree reversing camera, blind-spot detection, ambient lighting, keyless entry and start, and power-folding heated door mirrors.

Comfort features carried over include electronic climate control, heated front seats and a heated vegan-leather steering wheel, ensuring the entry point still feels well equipped for everyday British driving.

Choice of Powertrains

The Mokka YES is available with three powertrain options:

• Electric: 54kWh battery (51kWh usable) paired with a 156PS motor producing 260Nm of torque. A standard heat pump helps deliver up to 250 miles of WLTP range. Rapid charging supports a 0-80% top-up in around 30 minutes on a 100kW DC charger.
• Hybrid: 1.2-litre turbo petrol combined with a 28PS electric motor for a total of 145PS, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. It returns up to 58.9mpg (WLTP), emits as little as 108g/km of CO₂, and accelerates from 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds.
• Petrol: 1.2-litre turbo offering 136PS with a six-speed manual (up to 50.4mpg) or 130PS with an eight-speed automatic (up to 46.3mpg).
